More Action You Can Take

Don't let anything stop you in your quest for reform. If you have an idea that's not listed here, tell us about it and we'll be happy to help!

Write a Blog Post

You can spread the word to new groups online by writing a post to a blog you read regularly. Many political blogs accept submissions (here are some). Good posts are entertaining to read and tie in recent news. Please let us know you helped by posting a copy or a link in our Community Forum.

Write an entry for OUR blog

We'd love to publish your work. Write a snappy, relevant piece about public funding, or about money in politics, and we might feature it in the official You Street blog! Submit your piece or post a link in our Community Forum.

Write a Letter to the Editor

Newspapers are still a great way to inform your community about the many benefits of publicly funded elections and the legislation Congress is considering. Take a stand by writing a Letter to the Editor. We'll walk you through the process and provide the addresses of local papers you can send your letter to here.

Meet with your Representative or Senator

Believe it or not, Members of Congress actually love visits from their constituents. If you can't make it to Washington DC, you can also stop by their local district office. Call ahead first to see when your representative is in town. You can get phone numbers and addresses here. Please let us know how it went!
